Day 20 - A bathroom curtain?

Another day, another room plastered. So that's our bedroom done, and now the office as well. The landing cupboard and about half of the top landing is also plastered. It's really starting to look like part of the house, rather than a building site!

The frame for the bathroom door is now in place, and we have a curtain to protect our dignity until the doors are fitted after all of the plastering is done.

1st fix plumbing and 2nd fix electrics should be started on Monday or Tuesday, but we're still waiting for the outside wall to be bricked up.

Our bedroom looks to have ended up about 11'6" by about 13'. Plenty of space to fit all of our furniture, but not much space to swing a cat once the bed's in.

Bit of a delayed entry for today, as I was waiting for a chance to get the guttering and fascia prepped and undercoated, which is now done after an hour of lying on the scaffolding. Once the building work is all finished, I'll get up the scaffold (out through the window on the new stairs!) and get a couple of coats of black gloss done.
If you look closely on the very bottom photo (below) you can see that we now have grey guttering and fascia...
