The cabling has made it all the way down into the cellar, and there are now big loops of wire next to where the new secondary fuse box is going in. Some of the wires are pushed through the walls in the right places - the back boxes are due in any day now. There's also random wires hanging through existing ceilings that are apparently for the interlinked smoke alarms that we have to have.
A bit more plastering has also been done - the ceiling over the new stairs is now done, along with the rest of the walls on the landing. We're getting close to the end of the plastering at last!
The other big thing today is that the first fix plumbing has started. We've got pipes in place for the shower and the sink, the hole in the wall is ready for the soil pipe and he's started notching out for the radiator in the back bedroom.
