Day 7 - Stairs, and the next skip

More "inside" stuff today, preparing for the arrival of the steels tomorrow. They've cut holes in the wall to accept the end of the steels - I haven't seen the holes, I felt them being made! The whole house was vibrating on and off for about an hour today.

The stairs are all measured up now, and they've started putting in the joists for the floor.

We're now onto the second skip. I did some skip diving to retrieve some bricks for the allotments from the first one (got just over 100 bricks!). The trailer is currently groaning under the weight, so hopefully people will come and collect a few barrow loads over the next week or so.

We're hoping to get up into the roof on Wednesday or Thursday to start planning out where the walls are all going to go.
I'm really looking forward to it - the only thing I know about it so far is that the builders think that it looks quite a big space and it won't be cramped with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom (okay, one of the bedrooms is a craft room / office, but it'll be classed as a bedroom).
